I have the honour to inform you that the Superintendent, Imports and Exports Department of this Colony, reports a seizure of cocaine which on analysis proved to be almost identical with two other seizures recently made from ships which had come from Japan.
Among the papers seized were found a number

of envelopes addressed to Messrs. Wai Kee, Kobe, Japan, specimens of which I enclose. Cables to and from this
firm were also found.

☎. From enquiries made it would appear that all the cocaine referred to had been shipped by this firm.
I shall be glad if you will be good enough to transmit this information to the Japanese Authorities
concerned.
